INVITATION TO THE EXHIBITION

The 2008 3rd ISN Special Neurochemistry Conference - 8th International Meeting for Brain Energy Metabolism – "Neurodegeneration and Regeneration" will be hosted in Fragrant Hill Hotel, Beijing, China during June 27- July 1, 2008.  It is organized jointly by the Internation Society for Neurochemistry (ISN) and the Neuroscience Research Institute of Peking University, and sponsored by The Chinese Society for Neuroscience, Beijing Society for Neuroscience and Hai Kang Life Corporation Ltd.

The focus of the joint meeting will be on "Neurodegeneration and Regeneration". The objective of this meeting is to gather neuroscientists around the globe for an informative and stimulating discussion in China on the latest knowledge in neurosciences, particularly on neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, Epilepsy), new drug developments and treatment therapies for CNS diseases and spinal cord injuries.

This  event will attract  attendees around the world including specialists, scholars and researchers in the area of neurology and neuroscience. The exhibition fee is US$ 3,000 for 2 x 2 m2. The fee includes:

(3) Exclusive Banquet Sponsorship
The sponsorship fee is US$ 16,000. The benefits for sponsor includes:

(4) Travel Award Sponsorship
The sponsorship fee is minimum US$ 5,750 (travel awards for 5 persons, with US$ 1,150 per person). The benefits for sponsor includes:

2. Conditions for participation and terms of payment

To register as an exhibitor or sponsor, please use the 'Application Form' (download here). Please print out and sign the completed application form, then scan and email, fax or mail the form to the Exhibition Organizer, with the exhibition fee no later than May 01, 2008
The application will be validated under the condition that the payment is done in one week after the completed application form is sent. The forms and payments will be handled in order of arrival (first-come, first-served).

Any cancellation of the exhibition should be notified by a letter to the Exhibition Organizer. Cancellations received before May 15, will be subject to a 50% refund of the total exhibition cost. No refund will be given after this date. All refunds will be processed ONLY ONE WEEK AFTER the conference.

(3) Exhibition stands arrangement:
In the application form, the exhibitors may make 3 choices of booth numbers (No.1 – No.17) according to the floor plan of exhibition. If more than one booth are needed, please indicate your preference to us as early as possible. The arrangement of the stands is in accordance with the principle of “Earlier Application and Paying, better choice”. The organizer reserves the right of adjusting some choices due to the availability of your choice.

(4) Insurance and damage on exhibition premises:
The Organizing Committee and the Exhibition Organizers do not accept liability for
personal/exhibit injuries, for damage made to walls, floor, equipment or inventory of the exhibition premises, either during or as a result of the exhibition. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to arrange for the necessary insurance coverage.

(5) Others:
Exhibitor badges, the receipt, etc. will be handed out on site.

4. Attention for advertisements in program book：
The arrangement of layout is in accordance with the principle of “first-come, first-served”. The Exhibition Organizer reserves the right of adjusting some few layouts. Contents of advertisements must be sent to the exhibition organizer by May 1st 2008.
