2nd Annual Genome Editing USA Congress
3-4 October 2016,Hilton Hotel San Diego, USA
Our inaugural Genome Editing USA Congress, 3-4 October 2016 at the Hilton Hotel San Diego, USA, features a panel of leading global gene-editing experts who will discuss their latest research in areas including therapeutic and drug discovery applications, as well as novel techniques and technologies. Delegates will have the opportunity to attend our co-located 2nd Annual Next Generation Sequencing and Single Cell Analysis USA Congress, where we will be bringing together some of the top minds working in genomics and bioinformatics to address topics ranging from computational biology challenges to the clinical and diagnostic applications and the latest microfluidics technologies.
With CRISPR technology causing a major upheaval in the use of gene editing, our distinguished panel will look at the hottest technological advances and discuss their own techniques using the Cas-9 system and other potential approaches, as well as the continuing merits of TALENs and ZFNs. Additionally, we will have leading academics and pharmaceutical scientists present their latest work in both drug discovery and therapeutic applications of genome editing. Following on more our renowned international Genomics series, this year’s Boston event will attract over 250 delegates.
Attendees will have the opportunity to discover the very latest technologies, hear brand new data, and network with renowned senior academics and pharmaceutical representatives. The congress will feature 20 presentations from the leading scientists in the field, with senior academics from Harvard, MIT, University of Washington, North Carolina State University and more covering areas ranging from developing CRISPR techniques using in vivo models to synthetic gene networks and therapeutic research. The congress will also feature a panel discussion on translating gene-editing to drugs chaired by a VP from Janssen keynote presentation on gene editing to cure cancer from the CEO of Cellectis.
