The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) is a leading research conference organizer in South Asian region. TIIKM feels immense pleasure to announce the International Conference on Bioscience and Biotechnology (BioTech) 2016 with collaborating of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. The conference will be held during 12-14 January, 2016 in Colombo, Sri Lanka under the theme of “Molecular Life Sciences for the Development in the 21st Century”. The Conference addresses novel challenges and emerging researches in the multidisciplinary arena of Bioscience and Biotechnology.

TIIKM hopes to bring together academics and industry experts in a common international platform to exchange knowledge, experience and research innovations for the betterment of life sciences of 21st century. The BioTec-2016 provides a golden opportunity to all Scientists, Researchers, Bio-technologists, Policy Makers, and Industry Specialists etc. for knowledge sharing. The scheduled programme of BioTec-2016 consists of an Executive Round Table, an exhibition, special sessions, discussions, a social networking dinner, a cultural show and an optional post conference tour.

The conference will be chaired by Emeritus Prof. Eric H Karunanayake, Professor of Biochemistry, Institute of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, University of Colombo.

Prof. Atta-Ur-Rahman, FRS UNESCO Science Laureate President Network of Academies of Science in Countries of the Organization of Islamic Conference (NASIC), Professor Emeritus, International Centre for Chemical & Biological Sciences, University of Karachi, Pakistan and Prof. K.M. Nalin de Silva, Science Team Leader, Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC) will also contribute as key-note speakers in this conference. We are going to arrange a panel discussion with the collaboration of the Ministry of Technology, Technical Education and Employment together with the conference.
