Oxford Global’s Genetics in Forensics Congress will take place on the 14th & 15th March 2016 in London. Over 150 delegates will have the opportunity to discuss over 30 case studies and presentations focused on novel DNA profiling platforms & technologies, the applications of NGS in forensic science & key developments in human identification research.
Day one features a whole stream dedicated to exploring the opportunities and challenges of NGS, including statistical analysis and interpretation of DNA profiles and mixture deconvolution. Our highly esteemed panel of speakers will also address topics including body fluid identification, SNP and STR analysis, and RNA profiling. On day two the focus turns to the most exciting research into DNA markers, including how to handle degraded DNA samples, strategies for familial search, and rare DNA variants and how to interpret them.
