BIT's 5th Annual World Congress of Bioenergy-2015
September 24-26,2015
Xian,China
Invitation letter
Welcome to the fifth World Congress of Bioenergy, to be held in Xi’an in 2015. I promise you some informative, full and entertaining days. Those who came to WCBE-2014 in Qingdao expecting to hear about the new developments in bioenergy in China were not disappointed. That conference was very well organised and with a high standard of speakers, along with plenty of opportunities for networking, a high standard of catering and some spectacular social events.
The WCBE conference this year similarly will showcase the developments in bioenergy technologies that are being developed in China. WCBE-2015 offers 8 parallel tracks as well as entry to a display hall where participants can see what bioenergy technologies, products and services are available from China.
The Congress’s eight tracks include biomass and feedstock, biorefining and processing, biofuels, biogas, and bioenergy economy, policy and sustainable development. Of the two other tracks, one is for young researchers from around the world, and the other is a Chinese language-only track for domestic bioenergy developments.
China is a world leader in some areas of bioenergy technology, and soon promises to be up with the world leaders in all other areas.
One of these areas of rapid progress is in waste-to-energy. The national targets for installation of new waste-to-energy plants in the current five-year plan will see up to US$16 billion million being spent to move toward the target of 400 new plants being added to the existing 100 plants in operation. The largest of these plants, at Tianjin, will soon have its capacity increased to 1400 tonnes per day.
China’s leadership in smaller-scale anaerobic digestion is well known, with up to 23 million household digesters installed. The target is also to utilise a far greater amount of the putrescible wastes progressively being diverted from household garbage in cities across the country.
Another area of focus that will be covered extensively in the conference is the production of second generation or advanced biofuels. China has enormous quantities of the feedstocks of straw and plantation harvest residues available. Other economically –available carbon-rich feedstocks include hundreds of millions of tonnes annually of flammable municipal wastes.
Much research is happening in China across the whole area of biorefineries and production and processing of value-added biochemicals. As with last year, this stream is a strong component of the conference.
The Bioenergy Congress in Xi’an is a linked conference with the Euro-Asia Economic Forum. As well as providing this access to leading world speakers on the development of the global energy markets,
The Congress at Xi’an, with the theme of Boosting the Development of Bioenergy, runs in parallel with a number of other closely related congresses. These cover the topics of catalysis, clean-coal technology, nano-science, low carbon earth, and new energy technologies.
This year’s conference city of Xi’an is known around the world as the site of the terracotta warriors, and the immediate region is a treasure house of historic and cultural assets. It was the capital of 13 Chinese dynasties including the Qin, Han and Tang Dynasties. So for conference participants it is a chance to both learn about the latest bioenergy information, as well as to visit one of the ancient world’s four most important cities.

Exhibition
Why Exhibit at WCBE-2015
Bioenergy Device and Equipment Expo provides a unique place where leading companies, institutes, organizations and associations together with general suppliers of equipment and consumables can exhibit their products, technologies and services to a captive audience.
1. Position your product
Smart marketers spend a lot of time deciding how to "position" their products or services in the consumer's mind. If you DO choose the right positioning for your product or service, and communicate it forcefully to your target audience, you can ultimately build a strong brand identity that can have enduring value.
2. Brand exposure
With the quality and number of visitors in attendance, exhibiting at this conference gives you brand exposure to the sort of people who will actually buy your services. Remember, being in the same room as your competitors only increases brand awareness if your customers are there to see you...
3. Networking
This conference will extend business, networking and learning opportunities beyond the event venue and successfully acts as a bridge between China and the international market
4. Connections
It is not only a conference but also a platform that you can meet your clients, prospects and friends or seek potential business opportunity
5. An ideal medium
It is an ideal medium for test marketing or launching new products. New buying interests can be uncovered and otherwise unaccessible buyers appear in front of your exhibit.
6. Concessions to returned exhibitors
We will give a discount to our regular exhibitors from 10% to 20%. If this is the first conference, we will encourage potential exhibitors to attend this event by some concessions.
Exhibition Scope:
