16th Annual Drug Discovery Summit
8th & 9th June 2015
Hotel Palace Berlin, Berlin, Germany
Oxford Global’s 16th Annual Drug Discovery Leaders Summit is Europe’s leading congress in the drug discovery and discovery chemistry field. Together with our co-located 2nd Annual Discovery Chemistry and Drug Design Congress, our prestigious Summit brings together prominent decision makers working at the forefront of research into target based discovery, phenotypic screening, preclinical biomarkers, translational medicine, data management and medicinal chemistry. The Conference programme consists of world-class keynote addresses, industry case studies and academic led presentations to create an executive platform for high-level scientific discussion and networking.
Our Summit will consist of 6 interactive streams covering:
· Target Based Discovery
· Screening and Assays: Enabling Technologies
· Preclinical Biomarkers and Translational Medicine
· Supporting Innovation: Data and Information Management
· Discovery Chemistry: Latest Case Studies
· Drug Design: Novel Approaches
On day one our panel of discovery experts will explore the current resurgence in phenotypic screening, its utility compared to target based approaches and how to overcome challenges associated with both techniques. Our screening and assays stream will showcase the latest innovations in high content analysis and the search for physiologically relevant screen models, including 3D cell culture and stem cells. Day one also features a stream dedicated to the latest research in medicinal chemistry including PPI and water mediated binging.
On day two delegates will hear from our industry leaders about reducing drug attrition with improved biomarkers, developing challenging biomarker assays and the most promising new technologies for translational medicine. Our data and information management stream will host exciting discussions about how to exploit Big Data for more efficient drug discovery, key library optimisation opportunities and managing complex discovery portfolios. Our third stream is dedicated to the most innovative approaches to drug design, including new computational tools and advice about how to build increasing molecular complexity into drug design.
