Introduction

After 12 years of hosting the annual Ion Channel Retreat in Vancouver, Aurora Biomed is expanding its global reach to include a second retreat in Guangzhou, China. The International Ion Channel Retreat 2014 welcomes scientists from a variety of research laboratories representing the full spectrum of non-profit, academic, biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Set to be held November 5th -7th 2014, the 2014 International Ion Channel Retreat will showcase the importance of new drug discovery research, as well as the importance of producing new screening technologies, while maintaining or improving safety and efficacy of target compounds. We have also added new elements that extend the scope of our Vancouver retreat, including the New Horizons of Life Sciences workshop, and more applicable topics like Neurodegenerative Diseases, Stem Cells, and Alcohol, Tobacco & Drug Abuse.

 

In addition to the three-day retreat format followed in Vancouver, the inaugural retreat in Guangzhou will include an additional session of short courses (TBA) for more exposure of your company.
