The CME2005, the First International Conference on Complex Medical Engineering, was closed with great success in Kagawa, Japan (http://frontier.eng.kagawa-u.ac.jp/CME2005/). It gave the CME scientists from all over the world a good opportunity to share their ideas. The conference will continue to promote the further development of CME. In the 21st century, applications in medicine and engineering must acquire greater safety and flexibility if they are to yield better products at higher efficiency. To this end, complex science and technology must be integrated in medicine and engineering. These include complex technology in medicine, complex bioinformatics, brain science and medical technology, neuroscience and technology, and more. ICME is an international organization dedicated to the promotion scientific research and industrial development in the field of complex medical engineering. Same as the CME2005, the aim of CME2007 is to bring together researchers and practitioners from diverse fields as follows. Workshops, special sessions and tutorial sessions will be organized. We will also invite renowned experts to give keynote speeches. The CME2007 will take place in Beijing, China. Bring your family with your research findings to CME2007, enjoy our technical program and social event and appreciate the Great Wall, the Palace Museum, and so on of the history of China and the cultures of the Orient.
