
Malaysia 4th Laboratory and Analytical Equipment, Instrumentation and Services Exhibition and Conference 2013

LabAsia is a biennial international exhibition that showcases the latest in laboratory equipment, instrumentation and services. The event is organize by Malaysia Institute of Chemistry and ECMI Trade Fairs S.E.A. Sdn Bhd. It was held for the first time in year 2007 in conjunction with the 12th Asian Chemical Congress (12 ACC). Since its inception in 2007, the exhibition has grown from gross space 2,000sqms to 5,000sqms in coming 2013 exhibition. LabAsia was successfully organized together with an international conference which was Asianalysis X, 10th Asian Conference on Analytical Sciences in year 2009 and CHEMRAWN, 19th IUPAC International Conference on Chemical Research and Applied to World Needs and ExTech and 13th International Symposium on Advances in Extraction Technologies 2011.
In conjunction with LabAsia 2013, an International Conference on Water and Waste Water Management (ICWWM 2013), “Water of Life” will be jointly organized by Malaysia Institute of Chemistry (IKM) and The National University of Malaysia (UKM).
LabAsia 2011 had 155 exhibitions demonstrating their latest technologies from 33 countries. In addition, group pavilions China, Germany, India and Singapore also exhibited their most advanced equipment and technologies. In 2013, Korean Pavilion will be the latest addition.
In LabAsia 2013, we anticipate:
· Number of exhibitors to DOUBLE
· Two additional overseas pavilions
· Overseas exhibitors to increase by 25% from ASEAN countries
· Exhibition size to increase by 30%
LabAsia 2013 is set to be an exciting event for chemists, engineers, researchers from the academic, government and private sector to explore and source for the latest innovative technologies.
