International Biotech and Lab Automation Europe has postponed its 2006 meeting for undisclosed reasons, the group said in a statement today.
“It is with regret that … exhibition has been postponed,” IIR Exhibitions, the conference’s organizer, said in a statement. “The organizers have decided that the 2006 event will not now take place and will fully refund all contracted exhibitors.”
The event was to take place Nov. 7-8 in Olympia, UK.
A spokesperson for IIR would not disclose the reason for the postponement.“It is unfortunate but we are going to have to postpone this year’s edition of the exhibition,” IIR Exhibitions Managing Director Nicky Mason said in the statement. “We will be undertaking research in the industry, both with visitors and exhibitors, to ascertain the best format for the event to run in the future.”
