The 5th China Int'l Scientific Instrument and Laboratory Equipment Exhibition

Approved by the Ministry of Commerce, the 5th China International Scientific Instrument and Laboratory Equipment Exhibition （ hereinafter called CISILE 2007 ） is greatly supported by China Academy of Sciences, China Machinery Industry Federation, and China Educational Instrument & Equipment Association . It is a large scale exhibition sponsored by China Instrument Manufacturer's Association and organized by Beijing Lamp Exhibition Co., Ltd. CISILE collects global innovative achievements in such fields as analytical testing, laboratory, higher learning institutions, biotechnology, and quality control, and exhibits the latest achievements in R&D and application of scientific instrument. The exhibits and technology have reached the advanced level of the world. More and more transnational companies and domestic enterprises choose CISILE as their primary platform to launch their latest products and technologies all over the world.

       CISILE has been taking “large scale, high standard and high rate of return on exhibition” as its mission. Held in Beijing in 2006, the 4 th CISILE covered an area of exhibition of 15000 square meters with 386 manufacturers from more than ten countries, for example, the USA, Germany, the UK, and Japan. Specialized audience came from not only various provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government, but five continents, especially Asia. Therefore the exhibition is open to China, and to the world, especially Asian clients.

       The independent innovative prize established at the 4 th CISILE was highlighted. It was well received by exhibitors and people inside the industry. The said prize is open to domestically produced products with high level in such aspects as integrated independent innovation; system integration innovation; introduction, digestion, absorption and re-innovation; independent innovation in technology and workmanship. The prize is aiming at responding to the great vocation of the CPC central committee for the establishment of innovative country, encouraging independent innovation in scientific instrument and laboratory equipment manufacturing. Sponsored by China Instrument Manufacturer's Association , the prize is held simultaneously along with annual exhibition.

       China is one of the world recognized countries with strongest economic vitality and the fastest development. Innovative country is a major strategic orientation in terms of China's economic and social development, and the establishment of national innovative system is the major goal of the 11 th five year plan. As the carrier of new technology and the implementation of the said technology, advanced scientific instrument plays a fairly important role in the course of thriving the country through producers, knowledge innovation, and technical innovation. Meanwhile, advanced scientific research and new & high-tech industry has intensified the demand for scientific instrument. With the constant deepening of the strategy for establishing innovative country, scientific instrument will be bound to have vast demand and huge development potential.

       The 5th China International Scientific Instrument and Laboratory Equipment Exhibition （ CISILE 2007 ） is to be held on May 23-25, 2007 in Beijing Exhibition Hall. The exhibition is expected to cover an area of more than 20000 square meters, and the visitors will be over 30000. At the same time, large scale academic exchange. Meanwhile, international famous experts and scholars will be invited to dive special reports on world scientific instrument market, technical development trend, and the latest scientific research progress, etc. In addition, new product and technology promotions will be available. We believe the exhibition will provide more business opportunities for various exhibitors.

       CISILE Prize for Independent Innovation:

•  Sponsored by China Instrument Manufacturer's Association , the prize for independent innovation covers such

fields as analytical testing, optics, quality control, and biochemistry. Each prize is divided into gold prize and silver prize;

•  The said prize is open to domestically produced products with high level in such aspects as integrated

independent innovation; system integration innovation; introduction, digestion, absorption and re-innovation; independent innovation in technology and workmanship. And the products must be the exhibits at the exhibition;

•  Enterprise with the intention to participate in prize selection should, first of all, submit application and

relevant materials to CISILE Office. After the selection of Appraisal Committee, the results will be publicized at the exhibition award ceremony;
