About BIO India

This exclusive forum will bring together biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies from North America, Europe and Asia to meet and explore business opportunities with India’s emerging biotech sector.

BIO brings to India more than ten years of experience and expertise in biotech and pharmaceutical partnering. BIO is renowned for its successful partnering meetings in the U.S., Japan and Germany, including the biotech world’s largest partnering event, the Business Forum, at the BIO International Convention. ABLE, BIO’s partner in India, brings to the meeting extensive local expertise and its comprehensive network of Indian and Asian biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

Private one-on-one meetings between investors, large biotech and pharmaceutical companies and emerging Indian biotech companies will be arranged through BIO’s new state-of-the-art software.

BIO One-on-One Partnering

BIO One-on-One Partnering will open in spring 2011.

To request access to BIO One-on-One Partnering, you must:

1) Register for the conference (registration opens Spring 2011)
and
2) Indicate an intent to partner on your registration record. Upon approval, an e-mail confirmation with login information will be sent within 3 business days of receipt.

BIO One-on-One Partnering is proprietary software developed by BIO that allows registrants to utilize an online database tool to:

  • Search company and investor profiles
  • Evaluate potential collaborations and funding opportunities with participating companies
  • Communicate directly with prospective investors and senior business and scientific management
  • Pre-schedule private one-on-one meetings

With the overall objective of creating a friendly environment to initiate business contacts, scheduled meetings take place in 30-minute intervals in booths provided by BIO onsite at the conference. Prior to the conference, pre-scheduled meetings are arranged via BIO One-on-One Partnering by a BIO team member. This industry-specific, Web-based interactive software enables participants to move efficiently from the identification of prospective partners to discussion and negotiations.
