China General Administration of Customs and U.S. Trade and Development Agency signed a cooperation agreement on Intellectual Property Right (IPR) protection in Beijing Thursday.
According to the program, IPR protection experts from two countries will introduce to China's customs staff the international customs rules and regulations, rules and laws concerning IPR protection of China and US, IPR professional knowledge, and others.
Delegates of U.S.'s commercial field will also have chance to hold talks with Chinese customs staff to exchange their views on IPR protection.
China and U.S. have made a series of cooperation on IPR protection, including research on related regulations and staff training.
IPR protection has remained a major topic of the trade between China and U.S. China has taken a series of measures to improve its IPR protection, yet U.S. think that there is still a lot for China to do in the field.
