On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to welcome all of you to attend the 5th Asian-Pacific Organization for Cell Biology Congress (APOCB 2006), which will be held from Oct. 28 to 31, 2006 in Beijing , China .

The Congress is designed to present an updated progress in the field of Cell Biology. It will give all the participants a chance to share the lasted experience and knowledge, and will provide us with a unique opportunity to make a further collaboration among physicians and scientists working in these fields throughout the region.

Beijing is the capital of China and one of the most well known cities with extensive historic preservations and restorations to visit and plenty of entertainment to enjoy. In preparation for the nation's first Olympic Games in 2008, the city has been going through a face-lift for the past 5 years. The Congress will provide a unique opportunity for you to visit the city and experience the fast changing pace of the nation.

It is connected with BICC by indoor corridor. All rooms are equipped with private bath, color TV, air-conditioning, mini bar and IDD telephone. The hotels have Chinese and western food. You could also find foreign currency exchange, laundry, shopping arcade, hair styling and cosmetology, massage and business center there.

Yayuncun Hotel (YH **)

Located in the northeast of the Asian Games Village , the rooms are apartments (one bed room) equipped with a bath, air conditioner, color TV, refrigerator and telephone.
