The China BioPharma Opportunities conference will take place in Shanghai

More than 300 executives and scientists from the pharmaceutical and biotech will meet on June 13-15 to discuss R&D strategies and business partnerships in China. The China BioPharma Opportunities conference will take place at the Riverfront Business Hotel in Shanghai. The co-organizers, IBC Life Sciences and the Zhangjiang Group, will host this event featuring 80 speakers from around the globe discussing strategies to reduce R&D costs, enrich their pipelines and extend their market reach.
 
Highlights include keynote presentations by Zhu Chen, M.D., Ph.D., Chinese Academy of
Science,
China; Lee Babiss, Ph.D., Hoffmann-La Roche, USA and Frank Walsh, Ph.D.,
Wyeth Research, USA.
 
The conference and exhibition will address the much-debated IP and regulatory issues, the
integration of China into the corporate R&D strategy, successes in East-West business
partnerships, outsourcing or licensing capabilities in the discovery, pre-clinical and clinical
environments, as well as the latest scientific advances in China.
 
Speakers from the US, Europe and Asia will address these vital topics via a mixture of
presentations, panel discussions and company showcases. Also, the showcase of Chinese companies will highlight products and services offered with
the aim of advancing discovery and development through collaborative research, and the
partnering zone will be offered free of charge for attendees to make contact with other attendees prior the event.
