Lifeasible Enhances Elemental Analysis Platform to Support Comprehensive Material Characterization

Hits:25   Date: 6/26/2026
Lifeasible has enhanced its elemental analysis platform to provide expanded analytical capabilities for the characterization of elemental composition across a wide range of sample types. The platform is designed to support researchers and industrial users in obtaining detailed compositional information for materials analysis and quality evaluation.

Elemental analysis plays a fundamental role in material research, enabling the identification and quantification of metallic, non-metallic, and trace elements within complex samples. These analytical results are widely used to support studies in materials science, environmental research, chemical analysis, and related fields.

The upgraded platform integrates multiple analytical technologies to enable comprehensive elemental characterization. These include inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry (ICP-AES), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (WDXRF), energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (EDXRF), ion chromatography, and atomic absorption spectrometry.

In addition to these methods, the platform also supports organic elemental analysis as well as carbon, sulfur, oxygen, and nitrogen determination. Automatic potentiometric titration is also included to extend the range of available analytical approaches, allowing users to select appropriate techniques based on sample characteristics and research requirements.

According to Lifeasible, the platform is capable of analyzing a broad spectrum of elemental categories, including common metals, heavy metals, precious metals, rare earth elements, and non-metallic elements. This enables flexible application across different research and industrial scenarios.

The platform is applicable to a variety of sample types, including fuels and oils, agricultural products, chemical substances, soil samples, pharmaceuticals, cosmetic products, food and beverage materials, and dairy-related compounds. This wide applicability allows users to apply elemental analysis across multiple disciplines.

"Elemental analysis remains a critical part of understanding material composition and quality," said Isla Miller, a representative from Lifeasible. "By integrating multiple analytical technologies, we aim to support researchers with more flexible and reliable testing solutions."

Lifeasible continues to develop its analytical service platforms to meet evolving demands in material characterization and industrial testing. For more information about the platform, please visit: https://www.lifeasible.com/platforms/elemental-analysis-platform/.
