SETAC Asia/Pacific2006 will be held in Sep18-20 in Beijing

On behalf of the international and local organizing committees, it is a great pleasure for us to invite colleagues to attend the SETAC Asia/Pacific 2006 meeting, which will be held in Beijing , China from September 18 to 20, 2006 . The Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC) is a nonprofit, worldwide professional society comprised of individuals and institutions engaged in the study, analysis, and solution of environmental problems, the management and regulation of natural resources, environmental education, research and development.

The theme of this year's conference is “Growth with a Limit, the Integration of Ecosystem Protection for Human Health Benefits”. Each session will span a multitude of topics including Environmental Chemistry, Aquatic Toxicology, Terrestrial Toxicology, Ecological Risk Assessment, Human Exposure and Risk Assessment, Environmental Biogeochemistry, Environmental Monitoring, Endocrine Issues, Regional Issues, Remediation of Contaminated Sites, Regulation and Policy Issues.

The conference will provide a forum for participants from around the world to present the latest developments in scientific principles, as well as to discuss and exchange the latest information leading to sustainable environmental quality for human health.
