Ellutia designed and produced a custom 200 Series GC with three different detectors (FID, XSD and PFPD). The system allows the user to screen in various modes, multiple detectors in parallel or individual detectors tuned for high sensitivity.

These selective detectors are both sensitive to the compounds of interest, but will also see all compounds within that species, meaning no missed compounds. The system was also designed to allow for additional detectors to be added at a later date if required.

In system configuration A
The user can individually select each individual detector that can be tuned for looking at specific compounds.

In system configuration B
The eluent will go to all detectors in parallel, this allows the user to screen samples for a wide range of compounds.
