Description:
Strain C57BL/6 Mouse Neural Stem Cells/GFP are derived from the hippocampus and SVZ of day 12.5 post coitus strain C57BL/6 mice embryos of GFP-transgene and are cultured as neurospheres in Neural Stem Cell Growth Medium (Cat. No.: GUXNX-90011).
Cells are cryopreserved at the first passage of culture.
Cells are supplied in a cryovial containing 1x106cells.

Characterization of cells:
Strong capacity to expand.
Capable of differentiation into multiple cell types such as neuron, astrocyte, oligodendrocyte.

Quality control:
Cells are tested negative for bacteria, fungi, mold, HIV, hepatitis-B&C, and mycoplasma.

Delivery and storage:
Frozen cells are shipped on dry ice.
Upon receipt, if no dry ice is left in the package, thaw and use them immediately.
If there is dry ice left in the package, store it in liquid nitrogen immediately upon arrival until it is convenient to proceed to subculture.
When stored at the recommended storage conditions, components are stable up to the expiration date. Do not expose to elevated temperature.
