Purpose: The MS-100 handheld spectroradiometer is designed to measure optical radiation in the wavelength range of 380-780 nm, with the capability to output spectral curves. It is compact and lightweight, featuring a rugged, portable protective case.

The instrument utilizes a self-powered design, making it suitable for both laboratory and field applications across multiple measurement modes, with data storage capabilities. Its applications are extensive, including solar spectrum measurement, spectral output measurement of light sources in greenhouses and growth chambers, as well as spectral reflectance measurement on both fixed (e.g., agricultural or ecological meteorological stations, flux towers) and mobile (e.g., plant phenotyping) platforms.
