Based on an advanced photon counting detector, this system enables high signal-to-noise ratio three-dimensional energy spectrum imaging on the whole body structure of small living animals, especially insects, fish, and rodents such as mice and rats, as well as high-resolution three-dimensional structural imaging of ex vivo tissues such as teeth and bone trabeculae. It can provide tomographic images with high contrast and high resolution, meeting the diverse application needs of the biomedical research field.

  • The system has scalability and multi-system fusion capabilities, enabling image fusion with multiple systems such as CT, PET, and SPECT.
  • The equipment casing has a fully enclosed radiation shielding capability, which can effectively isolate X-rays within the scanning chamber, ensuring the radiation safety of operators, and reducing the requirements for the work site.
