Application:

The increment borer is a universal tool for non-destructive tree-ring sampling.

By extracting a small core of wood, researchers can determine growth rate, wood density, pollution impact and nutrient transport without harming the tree.

It is widely used in forestry, forest ecology, wood technology, dendrochronology, architectural heritage assessment and age determination of ancient trees.

System components: Barrel (tube) Bit (auger) Extractor (spoon). Bits and extractors are available as spare parts.
