Cold Trap, working with concentrator centrifuge
 
The Evaporation rate is influenced by the energy that has been absorbed and the speed of the vacuum pump. A relatively large evaporation surface area of a sample, rather than sample capacity and quantity is the blockage that affect the efficiency of the vacuum pump. Therefore instead of using bigger vacuum pump, employ the cold trap. The application of the cold trap helps to condense vapors on the one hand and enhance then evaporation density of organic solutions for better condensation.
