Principle
PMA as a new DNA modification agent, can selectively combine with DNA in dead cells to form a complex, while DNA in living cells is not modified by PMA and can be amplified by qPCR . The PMA-qPCR Kit can selectively distinguish DNA in active cells from dead cells, and then perform qPCR reactions. It is widely used in food testing, medical testing and environmental testing, to improve the accuracy of detection.
