Application
APSD tests for MDIs/DPIs/Sprays.
Description
Model HRH-ACI283 Eight-stage Andersen cascade impactor is a multi-stage, critical orifice impact sampler for aerodynamic particle size distribution determination for inhaled fine particles, consisting of multi-stage cascade impactors and membrane in the last stage. When testing MDIs and nasal sprays, the top cover is connected to the induction port and the inhaler by an adapter. When testing DPIs, a pre-separator should be mounted to the top layer to collect large quantities of non-inhalable powder particles. It conforms to USP and Ph. Eur. as well as aerodynamic particle size distribution determination of inhaled fine particles of ChP 2020.
Features
Pre-separator ensures accurate separation of coarse particles.
Sampling flow rate:28.3L/min (optional 60L/min, 90L/min).
Low cost and easy operation.
Effectively prevent particle bounce and re-entrainment.
USP, Ph. Eur. and ChP compliant.
