A semi-automatic microtome is used to cut extremely thin sections (slices) of tissue from a paraffin-embedded block for microscopic examination.

Red safety blade guard with blade removal function covers the entire blade edge for maximum user protection during sectioning and when changing paraffin blocks.
7. Optional Specimen Clamps: Standard paraffin block clamp or standard cassette clamp.
8. Sectioning Parameters: Section thickness range 0-100 μm. Maximum section size 60×48 mm. Specimen orientation adjustments with zero indicator: horizontal tilt 0°-10° adjustable, vertical tilt 0°-10° adjustable, 360° rotation.
9. Specimen Travel Range: Maximum vertical stroke 70 mm. Maximum horizontal stroke 28 mm ± 1 mm.
