SBC is the first affymetrix Authorised service provider in China.We has built our infrastructure to facilitate the use of microarray technology in preclinical studies and clinical trials and to generate data in a suitable format for regulatory submissions. Leaded by Ph.D. molecular biologists and technical staff with more than 20 years combined industry experience, the center has hybridized and analyzed ten of thousands of Affymetrix Gene Chips and provided microarray servics and solutions for experimental design, sample preparation, sample processing, data analysis and data submission .
Service and Data Quality
1. SBC has developed and implemented specific SOPs that not only describe all procedures in the laboratory pertaining to microarray testing, but that also stipulate the mechanism by which laboratory associates are qualified and trained, how instruments are validated and maintained, as well as how reagents are ordered and validated before use.
2. To generate highest quality of data, SBC use stringent quantitative and qualitative quality control metrics ensure consistency and quality.
Chain of Custody
SBC meet the rigorous specimen logistics requirements associated with clinical trials though our central laboratory service to provide validated chain-of-custody for these critical samples.
Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded Samples (FFPE)
As the exclusive partner of Response Genetics, Inc (RGI) in China, we provide the only FFPE sample service in China. We employ RGI��s ��leading-edge�� tools to extract sufficient RNA from FFPE tissues for successful gene expression analysis .RGI patented procedure is extensively validated for its reproducibility, sensitivity and exportability
