Creative Biogene Streptococcus Pneumoniae Real Time PCR Kitis used for the detection of Streptococcus pneumoniae in samples like nasal and pharyngeal secretions, sputum, pleural sffusion, bronchial lavage, lung biopsy  by using real time PCR systems. Streptococcus pneumoniae, or pneumococcus, is a Gram-positive, alpha-hemolytic (under aerobic conditions) or beta-hemolytic (under anaerobic conditions), facultative anaerobic member of the genus Streptococcus. The kit contains a specific ready-to-use system for the detection of the Streptococcus pneumoniae. Fluorescence is emitted and measured by the real time systems' optical unit during the PCR.
