BackgroundFms-like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a critical role in hematopoiesis, particularly in the development and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells and progenitor cells. FLT3 is expressed on the surface of hematopoietic stem cells, myeloid progenitor cells, and dendritic cells, where it regulates cell proliferation, survival, and differentiation in response to its ligand, FLT3 ligand (FL). Mutations in the FLT3 gene are commonly found in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and are associated with poor prognosis. Inhibitors targeting FLT3 have been developed as potential therapeutic agents for AML and other hematologic malignancies. bio-equip.cn
