Background

HE4 (human epididymis protein 4) is a new tumor marker for ovarian cancer, and the incidence of ovarian cancer ranks third among the three gynecological malignancies. Normally, HE4 is expressed at very low levels in humans, but it can be very high in the tissues and serum of ovarian cancer patients and has a high sensitivity for ovarian cancer detection, especially in the early asymptomatic stage.This product is the recombinant human HE4 protein expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293).
