C3a（complement C3a receptor 1) is an anaphylatoxin released during activation of the complement system. The protein encoded by C3AR1 is an orphan G protein-coupled receptor for C3a. Binding of C3a by the encoded receptor activates chemotaxis, granule enzyme release, superoxide anion production, and bacterial opsonization.

C3aR Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of C3aR protein.

Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: IHC-p: 1:100-1:300, IF: 1:200-1:1000, ELISA: 1:10000. Not yet tested in other applications.
