This p53-target gene encodes a brain-specific angiogenesis inhibitor, a seven-span transmembrane protein, and is thought to be a member of the secretin receptor family. Brain-specific angiogenesis proteins BAI2 and BAI3（adhesion G protein-coupled receptor B3, ADGRB3) are similar to BAI1 in structure, have similar tissue specificities, and may also play a role in angiogenesis.

BAI-3 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of BAI-3 protein.

Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: IHC-p: 1:100-1:300, IF: 1:200-1:1000, ELISA: 1:10000. Not yet tested in other applications.
