PRKG2（protein kinase, cGMP-dependent, type II) encodes a protein that belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family of proteins. The encoded protein plays a role in the regulation of fluid balance in the intestine. A similar protein in mouse is thought to regulate differentiation and proliferation of cells in the colon. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Phospho-cGKII (S126) Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of cGKII protein only when phosphorylated at S126.

Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: IHC-p: 1:100-1:300, ELISA: 1:5000. Not yet tested in other applications.
