GPR18 is a Protein Coding gene. Along with the other previously "orphan" receptors GPR55 and GPR119,G Protein-Coupled Receptor 18 has been found to be a receptor for endogenous lipid neurotransmitters, several of which also bind to cannabinoid receptors. Protein-Coupled Receptor 18 is a receptor for N-arachidonyl glycine. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G proteins which inhibit adenylyl cyclase. May contribute to regulation of the immune system. Among its related pathways are Signaling by GPCR and Peptide ligand-binding receptors. GO annotations related to this gene include G-protein coupled receptor activity. An important paralog of this gene is GPR20.
GPR18 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of GPR18 protein.
Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator. Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: WB: 1:500-1:2000, IF: 1:200-1:1000, ELISA: 1:40000. Not yet tested in other applications.
