BackgroundFc蔚RI伪 (Fc epsilon receptor I alpha) is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein encoded by the FCER1A gene, which belongs to the immunoglobulin gene superfamily. It is a critical component of the high-affinity IgE receptor (Fc蔚RI) complex, responsible for binding the Fc region of IgE antibodies with high affinity. This receptor complex is primarily expressed on mast cells and basophils, and to a lesser extent on some monocytes, Langerhans cells, dendritic cells, and eosinophils from allergic donors. Upon allergen binding to IgE, Fc蔚RI伪 triggers cellular activation, leading to the release of mediators such as histamine and cytokines, which drive allergic responses and contribute to anti-parasite immunity. bio-equip.cn
