Binding activity
Binding activity was determined by ELISA. Immobilized PCT protein, Human, Recombinant (tag free) at 1μg/mL ( 100μL/well)  can bind Polyclonal anti -procalcitonin (PCT) (HyTest,Cat.# PPC3) , the EC50 value of human PCT protein is 236ng/mL.
 
Construction
A DNA sequence encoding the human PCT protein (uniport.# P01258) (Arg26-Asn141) was expressed and purified.

Molecular weight
The recombinant PCT protein consists of 116 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 12.80 kDa.
