MAGEE2 (MAGE Family Member E2) encodes a member of the E subfamily of MAGE (melanoma antigen-encoding gene) gene family. MAGEE2 is intronless and the encoded protein has two of the MAGE domains which are characteristic of MAGE family proteins. MAGEE2 is a Protein Coding gene. Diseases associated with MAGEE2 include Melanoma. An important paralog of MAGEE2 is MAGEE1.
