Principle
Food poisoning induced by staphylococcus aureus is mainly due to the production of enterotoxin in the process of growth and reproduction, which may cause vomiting, diarrhea, multiple organ dysfunction and even death. Staphylococcus aureus is able to produce a variety of enterotoxins(SE) such as A, B, C, D, E, F and SEB is the most commom one, which accounts for 75% of the total SE. This rapid test kit is based on the double antibody sandwich method and gold nanoparticle is used as the marker. If there is Staphylococcal Enterotoxin(A,B,C,D,E) in the sample, it will combine to the gold-labelled antibody as well as the polyclonal antibody coated on the T band of NC membrane and a visible T band will appear. By this means, the device can accurately indicate the presence of Staphylococcal Enterotoxin(A,B,C,D,E) in the sample.
