[TEST PRINCIPLE]
This kit is a solid phase sandwich time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with the specific antibodies against to Β2-MG . The serum samples are added and the Β2-MG in serum will be captured. When adding the second antibodies to the 96T microtiter plate, the labelled Eu3+ will react with the bound Β2-MG . In this case a multilayer immune complex（Ab-Β2-MG -Ab-Eu3+）will be formed in the microtiter plate. Then the unbound Eu3+ labelled antibodies will be removed by a washing step. Adding the fluorescence enriched solution, the Eu3+ in the immune complex on the surface of the microtiter plate will be dissociated by fluorescence enriched solution and become stable fluorescent complexes. Detect the light intensity with a time-resolved fluorescence immunoassay analyzer and create the reference curve by comparing the light intensity of the calibrators to their corresponding Β2-MG concentrations. For the best results we recommend log/log coordinates to get a reference curve, the Β2-MG concentrations of the unknown samples will be calculated by referring the light intensity to the reference curve.
