1. Description of Material & Intended Use
The present CRM mainly applies to test of veterinary drug residues, veterinary drug manufacture and quality control of testing laboratory, calibration of analytical instrument, verification and evaluation of analysis method etc. in the fields of environment, food industry etc.
2. Preparation
The candidate of the present CRM is obtained through further purification of veterinary drug by recrystallization, column chromatography etc. according to the physical and chemical characteristics of the RM. The RM which satisfies the requirement of qualitative analysis and preliminary analysis will be packaged after drying (CAS number：56-75-7).
3. Traceability and certification
Accurate and reliable analysis methods based on HPLC (DAD detector) was used to determine the main component of RM. Water was determined by karl-fisher method. Total non-volatiles /inorganics were determined by CIP-MS and TGA methods. The metrological validity of measuring method and measuring instruments was ensured to maintain traceability of the certified characteristic values.

Uncertainties arising from value determination of main component and impurities such as moisture and non-volatiles /inorganics are taken into consideration.
5. Homogeneity and Stability Testing
According to the requirement of national technique criterion on primary CRM, homogeneity and stability testing for this certified reference material were carried out through random sampling of subpackaged samples by HPLC (DAD detector). The results demonstrated good homogeneity and stability of this CRM.
The minimum sampling amount is 3mg.
The period of validity of this CRM is 5 years since the date of certification. The stability of this CRM is regularly monitored by NIM, during this period the customer will be informed of any change of the certified values just-in-less-time.
