Summary 
This reagent is based on the principle of colloidal gold immunochromatographic assay (GICA) and isused for the detection of pregnancy-associated glycoproteins (PAGs) in bovine serum samples. The sample is added to the spiking wells and moved along the chromatographic membrane with the colloidal gold marker.    
If pregnancy-associated glycoproteins (PAGs) are present in the sample, they bind to colloidal gold markers   and antibodies on the test line and show a purplish-red color, while no color reaction occurs if the amount of  pregnancy-associated glycoproteins (PAGs) in the sample is below the detection threshold.
