Introduction

The Rapid Rabies Ab Test kit uses rapid immunochromatographic assay to detect rabies virus antibodies in the serum of cats and dogs.

Procedure

1) Collect 0.5-1ml blood, centrifuge at 3000r/min for 3-5min to separate serum. Or be static at 4℃ overnight, separate the serum naturally.  

2) Open the foil bag, take out the EP tube Take 50ul serum to EP tube, use transferpettor gentle blowing repeatedly 5 times or more, Let serum completely mixed with reagents in bottom of EP tube.

3) Wait for 10min.

4) Add 2 drops dilution buffer to EP tube, Then use transferpettor gentle blowing the solution mixed even.

5) Add all solution in EP tube to test device which well mark “s”.

6)There will be wine-red liquid flow the observation, read result in 10-15min, the result will invalid after 15min.

 

Results

1. Negative：Both on T Line and C line being seen wine-red color reaction. The antibody titer in serum was lower than 0.5IU/ml.

 

           

 

2. Positive：no color reaction on Test Line (T Line),only on Control Line(C Line) being seen wine-red color reaction. The antibody titer in serum was higher than 0.5IU/ml.

  

        

3. Void：No color reaction on C Line.
