LWS420 Olive Oil Filtering Decanter Centrifuges is designed specially for olive oil extraction from the ready paste by 2-phase or 3-phase separation. Together with our polishing separator,customer can produce the extra virgin olive oil. 2 Phase decanter centrifuge is designed for olive oil extraction to avoid waste water pollution issues. 3 Phase decanter centrifuge is designed for olive oil extraction to get more drier olive pomace.
LWS Series Decanter Centrifuge(3-Phase)
It is used for dehydration, concentration, clarification, and solid particle separation of materials with density differences between solid and liquid.
Three-Phase Centrifuge Operating Principle
The centrifuge starts to rotate at full speed, and the slurry is added to the spiral inner cylinder through the feed pipe and then øows into the drum. Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid slag with a higher density settles on the drum wall, and is pushed towards the small end of the drum by the spiral conveyor and discharged from the slag outlet.
Oil and water form a concentric ring, and the light phase liquid (oil) overflows from the light phase liquid outlet, while the heavy phase liquid (water) øows into the pump chamber at the large end of the drum and is discharged by the centrifugal pump pressure. The thickness of different liquid rings is adjusted by the variable centripetal pump wheel.
Centripetal Pump
Centripetal pumps can be made of 304, 316L materials, or other materials.
There are 2 types of centripetal pumps: adjustable and non adjustable. The adjustable type can achieve non-stop adjustment of the depth of the drum liquid pool, and the centrifugal pump pressure discharge method is more suitable for situations where liquid is prone to volatilization.
