This calibrator can correct the electrode position to any angle quickly and accurately in sterotaxic surgery. It can coordinate position of the horizontal and vertical directions, the angle can be selected and moved to the correct horizontal coordinate position, and the manipulator, which was placed in the dovetail arm, can moved tip of the electrode to the targeted coordinates in the vertical direction.The horizontal slide has scales with 0.1mm accuracy and the zero point of it is correlated with that of ear bars.When the horizontal slide is set at zero, the horizontal and vertical slide bar is fixed at zero position.This calibrator is applicable only to RWD 68000 series stereotaxic instruments.
