This adaptor is specifically used for holding and anesthetizing neonatal mice.  After repeated testing and validation, RWD developed this unique adaptor can work with stereotaxic instruments. It can keep the neonatal mice well anesthetized and hold its head stable without affecting its physiological functions of the neonatal mice , while continuing to young mice were anesthetized and fixed gas to facilitate long experimental study of the brain.
