Applications:

The 6529 Automatic Evaporation Monitoring System records evaporation and rainfall data using an evaporation pan, equipped with a US Class A evaporation pan and complete installation accessories. The 6529 system is designed for long-term maintenance-free operation—the water level sensor and data logger internal batteries last for one year. The water level control system is solar-powered, allowing users to replenish water to the evaporation pan via water supply systems such as reservoirs or municipal pipelines. The accompanying data logger can be programmed for measurement and recording intervals, with signal processing capabilities including averages, maximums, and minimums. Optional additions include a water temperature sensor and a range of meteorological sensors to determine the relationship between evaporation and local environmental conditions—essential for evaporation research, evapotranspiration studies, and model development. Remote transmission equipment is also available to transfer data from the data logger to a remote host via wired, satellite phone, or wireless communication connections.
