The growth of plants cannot be separated from various nutrients, so we apply various fertilizers to plants, among which nitrogen fertilizer is the most common fertilizer. Too little fertilizer applied, insufficient nutrition required by plants; Applying too much fertilizer can cause waste of fertilizer and even lead to groundwater pollution. By measuring the relative content of chlorophyll, it is possible to truly understand the demand of plants for nitrogen fertilizer, thereby providing an efficient utilization of nitrogen fertilizer and protecting water sources from excessive nitrogen pollution. The water status of plants directly reflects their growth. Research has shown that leaf air temperature difference (the difference between leaf surface temperature and air temperature) can effectively reflect the water balance of plants. In addition, there have been many studies on the influence of environmental temperature on important growth processes such as plant flowering. To further reveal the coupling mechanism between plants themselves and environmental temperature, it is necessary to measure the "body temperature" of plants.
HLY-SPAD MUTI4 is a measuring instrument that integrates four parameters of plant chlorophyll, nitrogen, leaf temperature, and leaf humidity. Chlorophyll and nitrogen measurements use two LED light sources to emit two types of light, one is red light (peak wavelength 650nm) and the other is infrared (940nm). The two types of light penetrate the leaves and reach the receiver. The light signal is converted into an analog signal, which is amplified by an amplifier and converted into a digital signal by an analog/digital converter. The digital signal is processed by a microprocessor to calculate the value and displayed on the display screen. The blade temperature sensor adopts a high-precision thermocouple temperature sensor, which can quickly measure the temperature of live blades. HLY-SPAD MUTI4 is an economical and practical measuring instrument, characterized by a reasonable structure, simple operation, and large data storage capacity.
