Brief Introduction of Jacketed glass reactor
Jacketed glass reactor is a kind of laboratory and pilot-scale production equipment featuring a double-walled, high-borosilicate glass design. It can achieves precise temperature control by circulating heating or cooling fluids through its jacketed interlayer, and is widely used in fields such as biopharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, and new material synthesis. It can perform reactions—including concentration, distillation, reflux, separation, and purification—under conditions of constant speed, constant force, and constant temperature, it serves as an ideal instrument for educational instruction, laboratory experimentation, pilot-scale trials, and industrial production. This product can be seamlessly integrated with a range of auxiliary equipment, such as circulating water vacuum pumps, diaphragm vacuum pumps, low-temperature circulating pumps, circulating coolers, high-temperature constant-temperature circulators, low-temperature coolant circulation pumps, and integrated high/low-temperature circulation units.We can offer 1L-200L and customization.
This series of products can be equipped with vacuum devices, high temperature or low temperature devices to form a system.
Features of jaketed glass reactor:
1. PTFE-sealed stirring port and stainless steel variable-frequency stirring system, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant, high-strength, and highly leak-proof;
2. Real-time control with a digital speed display: offers intuitive settings and clear data readouts;
3. Dedicated motor with a pure copper core: delivers powerful performance while ensuring enhanced safety;
4. Multi-functional feeding port (including a dedicated solids inlet): designed with a wide opening to allow manual access, facilitating easy material addition and cleaning; features a PTFE lid for superior corrosion resistance and sealing performance;
5. Thickened GG17 high-borosilicate glass vessel: resistant to acids and alkalis, withstands extreme temperatures, and is robust, durable, and easy to clean;
6. Top-mounted angled discharge valve: prevents liquid accumulation and ensures leak-free operation;
7. Silent-operation casters: allow for 360° rotation for effortless mobility, with a one-touch locking mechanism to ensure maximum stability during operation.
Typical application of glass reactor:
It mainly used in bio-pharmaceuticals, fine chemical and synthesis of new materials etc. As follows:
- Distillation and concentration: such as vacuum distillation, refulx distillation, azeotropic distillation (which is more suitable for solvent recovery and purification etc.);
- synthesis and extraction: such as checmial synthesis, liquid liquid extraction, multiple phase reaction (which is more suitable for medical intermediate, synthetic perfume etc.);
- Crystallization and separation: such as crystallization in low temperature, filtration and drying (for high-end application, intergrated solid-liquid separation);
- Weather testing: such as high -low temperature reaction,(-80℃~250℃) and corrosion resistance testing;
