INT TFF 010 is a multifunctional tangential flow filtration system mainly used for sample concentration and washing filtration (buffer displacement), as well as cell harvesting and clarification.
This system allows the use of box membrane packs, hollow fiber membrane columns, and membrane adsorbers for filtration.
The Lab TFF tangential flow filtration system is designed in fully automatic mode, which can support endpoint control, automatic fluid replenishment, constant interception volume, and data recording. Reduce human operations and save time.

Constant interception volume control
In order to effectively replace the buffer solution during the continuous washing and filtration process, the volume of the storage tank should be kept constant. A replenishment pump can be used to add fluid to the storage tank to compensate for the decrease in liquid flow through the liquid, thereby maintaining the set retention volume.
Through flow control
To avoid premature fouling of the filter membrane and achieve stable flow rate during microfiltration operation, a scale at the permeate end can be used to maintain the permeate flow rate at the set value. Compared to uncontrolled throughput, throughput control typically ensures more stable throughput, higher protein production, and shorter processing time.
Transmembrane Pressure (TMP) Control
The filtration process is usually optimized by maximizing the flux (flow rate/filtration area) to achieve the shortest processing time. In order to maintain a stable flow rate during sample concentration and filtration, the Lab TFF system automatically adjusts the pressure at the reflux/permeation end through an electric proportional valve to control the transmembrane pressure (TMP). TMP - The numerical values are displayed on the touch screen and can also be obtained in the data recording function.
End point control
The Lab TFF system alarm function can be used to control the endpoint based on set parameters, such as liquid level in the storage tank and transmembrane pressure (TMP). The endpoint control enables the system to operate reliably and unattended. When the endpoint is reached, the pump and corresponding processing will stop, and users can take appropriate measures.
