These fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) probes are intended to detect reciprocal translocations [t(11;14)(q13;q32)] involving the CCND1 and IGH gene regions. This is one of the most common translocation events detected in myeloma. Patients with this translocation have been reported to have better survival and respond favorably to treatment, specifically high dose therapy and stem cell transplantation.

Empire Genomics has developed a custom CCND1-IGH probe which can be used to detect/confirm a rearrangement of the CCND1-IGH genes. The probe comes labeled in orange and green, and generally ships within 24 hours. You can choose to customize the probe to meet your needs, which will ship right after production of the probe is complete (approximately 1 week).
